The musician Jean (Marie-Octave-Géraud) Poueigh, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Tolosa on the 24th February 1876, the same year of the composers Akimenko, Alpaerts, Brian, Broqua, Børresen, Delune, Falla (y Matheu), Gnecchi, Koeberg, Laparra, Morawski-Dabrowa, Nielsen, Polignac, Ruggles, Sabrá. He died in Olivet (Loiret) on the 14th October 1958
