Juan Bautista Plaza-Alfonzo, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Caracas on the 19th July 1898, the same year of the composers Abramsky, Arundell, Bacarisse, Bacon, Cheslock, Claflin, Delannoy, Demuth, Eisler, Gershwin, Hamerik, Harsányi, Hába, James, Knipper, Krohn, Lazarus, Massarani, Mihalovici, Mulder, Rankl, Rubinstein, Ullmann. He died in Caracas on the first Jenuary 1964
