Constantin Nottara, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Bucarest on the first October 1890, the same year of the composers Ambros, Barbier, Bourguignon, Canal, Clokey, Cortinas, Grad, Guerrini, Gurlitt, Gál, Ibert, Kovalev, Manning, Martin, Martinu, Medins, Moore, Nystroem, Petersen, Reuter, Roig, Schoemaker. He died in Bucarest on the 19th Jenuary 1951
