The composer Otto Neitzel, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Falkenburg on the 6th July 1852, the same year of the composers Bayer, Borkowski, Clarus, Corder, Coronaro, Cowen, Gobatti, Grünfeld, Hillemacher, Housely, Huber, Kaan (Kaan-Albest), Laurens, Marzo, Mascheroni, Mengewein, Oswald, Pugno, Raida, Stanford. He died in Köln on the 10th March 1920
