Harold Vincent Milligan, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Astoria on the 31th October 1888, the same year of the composers Alexandrov, Beyer, Butting, Clapp, Coppola, Crews, Delvincourt, Durey, Odak, Rasbach, Shaposhnikov, Sklavos, Steiner. He died in New York on the 12nd April 1951
