The musician (ules-Louis-Olivier Métra was born in Le Mans on the second June 1830, the same year of the composers Adelburg, Arcais, Bülow, Durand, Goldmark, Grandval, Heise, Hellmesberger, Hentschel, Kretschmer, Lassen, Leschetizky, Minchejmer, Riccius, Serrao, Skuherský, Tolbecque. He died in Parigi on the 22nd October 1889
