The composer Johann (Georg Anton) Mederitsch(-Gallus), author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Vienna on the 27th December 1752, the same year of the composers Benda, Bianchi, Clementi, Gaelle, Guichard, Knecht, Minoja, Reichardt, Stenborg. He died in Lvov on the 18th December 1835
