Friedrich Marpurg was born in Paderborn on the 4th April 1825, the same year of the composers Bristow, Doppler, Gabriel, Gollmick, Gutiérrez (y) Espinosa, Hol, Horn, Loder, Lucantoni, Nibelle, Ortega del Villar, Oudrid y Segura, Ouseley, Reissmann, Rongé, Strauss. He died in Wiesbaden on the second December 1884
