The musician Romualdo Marenco was born in Novi Ligure on the first March 1841, the same year of the composers Andrée, Bachrich, Bevignani, Blaramberg, Bolzoni, Caudella, Chabrier, Dvorák, Famintsïn, Héritte, Kowalski, Lange, Mattei, Nessler, Parry, Pedrell, Ritter, Tarnowski, Usiglio, Vakhnyanyn. He died in Milano on the 9th October 1907
