Hermann Lowtzky was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Kamenetz-Podolsk on the 20th June 1871, the same year of the composers Ambrosio, Arregui Garay, Blech, Borch, Converse, Demény, Jessel, Kaempfert, Mugellini, Nevin, Paliashvili, Patterson, Pipkov, Reuss, Robles, Shapleigh, Spendiaryan, Stenhammar, Urbach. He died in Zurigo on the 8th December 1957
