The composer Alfred Lorentz was born in Strasburgo on the 7th March 1872, the same year of the composers Austin, Binicki, Borowski, Busser, Galeotti, Graener, Hausegger, Höeberg, Joteyko, Kaiser, Lamote de Grignon, Maclean, Moyzes, Möllendorf, Sekles, Séverac. He died in Karlsruhe on the 23th April 1931
