Max Julius Loewengard was born in Francoforte sul Meno on the second October 1860, the same year of the composers Akerberg (Åkerberg), Albeniz (Albéniz), Charpentier, Eymieu, Hansen, Hillemacher, Liepe, Mahler, Manolov, Marty, Paderewski, Reznicek, Rietsch (Löwy), Robyn, Statkowski, Tonning. He died in Hamburg on the 19th November 1915
