The musician Wesley La Violette was born in St. James on the 4th Jenuary 1894, the same year of the composers Avshalomov, Baranovic, Bennett, Borkovec, Capuana, Dessau, Dragoi, Granados y Campiña, Grosz, Heller, Kanitz, Laquai, Lazar, Miyagi, Molina, Pijper, Polovinkin, Schulhoff, Siohan.
