The composer Willem Louis Frédéric (Guillaume) Landré was born in Amsterdam on the 12nd June 1874, the same year of the composers Bittner, Brandts Buys, Castaldi, Ettinger, Eysler, Gatty, Göhler, Hahn, Hart, Holst, Marteau. Henri, Nedbal, Neglia, Neumann, Onofri, Parelli, Pierné, Schmid, Schmidt, Schoenberg, Sánchez de Fuentes. He died in Eindhoven on the first Jenuary 1948
