The musician Jósef Wladyslaw Krogulski, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Tarnów on the 4th October 1815, the same year of the composers Boieldieu, Buzzolla, Glover, Løvenskjold, Pierson, Solera. He died in Varsavia on the 9th Jenuary 1842
