Fritz Kauffmann, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Berlino on the 17th June 1855, the same year of the composers Aggházy, Chausson, Edwards, Esposito, Hellmesberger, Hervey, Hummel, Klicka, Mayer, Mendelssohn, Röntgen, Rückauf, Solomon, Valente. Died in Magdeburg on the 29th September 1934
