The composer Antoni (Antoine) Katski, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Kraków on the 27th October 1817, the same year of the composers Agnelli, Deldevez, Duggan, Gade, German Reed, Gregoir, Kreutzer, Kuntze, Lefébure-Wély, Mabellini, Maillart, Pedrotti, Robson, Soriano Fuertes y Piqueras, Thern, Tiehsen. Died in Ivanichy (Akulovka, Novgorod) on the 7th December 1899
