The musician Hans Huber, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Eppenburg on the 28th June 1852, the same year of the composers Bayer, Borkowski, Clarus, Corder, Coronaro, Cowen, Gobatti, Grünfeld, Hillemacher, Housely, Kaan (Kaan-Albest), Laurens, Marzo, Mascheroni, Mengewein, Neitzel, Oswald, Pugno, Raida, Stanford. Died in Locarno on the 25th December 1921
