Rijk (Richard) Hol (Holle), who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Amsterdam on the 23th July 1825, the same year of the composers Bristow, Doppler, Gabriel, Gollmick, Gutiérrez (y) Espinosa, Horn, Loder, Lucantoni, Marpurg, Nibelle, Ortega del Villar, Oudrid y Segura, Ouseley, Reissmann, Rongé, Strauss. He died in Utrecht on the 14th May 1904
