The composer (Emil) Robert Hansen was born in Copenaghen on the 25th February 1860, the same year of the composers Akerberg (Åkerberg), Albeniz (Albéniz), Charpentier, Eymieu, Hillemacher, Liepe, Loewengard, Mahler, Manolov, Marty, Paderewski, Reznicek, Rietsch (Löwy), Robyn, Statkowski, Tonning. He died in Århus on the 18th July 1926
