Ivar (Christian) Hallström, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Stoccolma on the 5th June 1826, the same year of the composers Adalid y Gurréa, Berens, Bott, Cortesi, Hauser, Hiles, Holstein, Kashperov, Lajarte, Quarenghi, Stadtfeld, Studzinski. Died in Stoccolma on the 11th April 1901
