Sultan (Ismail) Hajibeyov (Gadzhibekov) was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Shusha on the 8th May 1919, the same year of the composers Albertsen, Bentzon, Bäck, Casanova, Guarino, Harasta, Haubenstock-Ramati, Johansen, Kirchner, Király, Lucký, Negri, Nelhybel, Orrego-Salas, Pauer, Petkov, Tsukatani. He died in Baku on the 19th September 1974
