Jacques Gregoir

(1817-1876)

The composer Jacques (Mathieu Joseph) Gregoir was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Antwerpen on the 19th Jenuary 1817, the same year of the composers Agnelli, Deldevez, Duggan, Gade, German Reed, Katski, Kreutzer, Kuntze, Lefébure-Wély, Mabellini, Maillart, Pedrotti, Robson, Soriano Fuertes y Piqueras, Thern, Tiehsen. He died in Bruxelles on the 29th October 1876
