The musician Hermann (Gustav) Goetz was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Königsberg on the 7th December 1840, the same year of the composers Audran, Bourgault-Ducoudray, Brassin, Bronsart (von Schellendorf), Chaikovsky, Deslandres, Faccio, Gerbic, Horneman, Jacobi, Kalhauge, Kleffel, Kühner, Lenepveu, Ricordi. He died in Hottingen (Zurigo) on the third December 1876
