The composer Hugo Godron, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Amsterdam on the 22nd November 1900, the same year of the composers Aav, Antheil, Barraud, Berezowsky, Bernard, Blum, Burkhard, Bush, Copland, Dunayevsky, Ermatinger, Ferroud, Halffter (Escriche), Haug, Head, Ikonomov, Krenek, Mosolov, Oboussier, Pimsleur, Raymond, Reutter, Salmhofer, Schmidt-Isserstedt, Shekhter, Taktakishvili. Died in Zoelmond on the 6th December 1971
