The composer Henry F(ranklin Belknap) Gilbert was born in Somerville on the 26th September 1868, the same year of the composers Angeli, Bantock, Bleichmann, Braga, Brandts Buys, Broome, Ellberg, Engel, Erlanger, Gallico, Gawronski, Giarda, Hrazdira, Jarno, Jebe, Joplin, Lorenz, MacCunn, Maurice, Merikanto, Monti, Mortelmans, Patterson, Schillings, Silver, Skilton, Tomás. He died in Cambridge (Massachusetts) on the 19th May 1928
