The composer Giulio Cesare Gedda, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Torino on the 16th April 1899, the same year of the composers Angelo, Auric, Bárdos, Chávez (y Ramírez), Cortese, Coward, Davidenko, Duke, Haas, Korchmaryov, Krása, Lamote de Grignon y Ribas, Manziarly, Müller von Kulm, Poulenc, Rohloff, Tcherepnin. He died in Callegno (Torino) on the 7th September 1970
