The composer Jean-François-Eugène Gautier was born in Vaigirard on the 27th February 1822, the same year of the composers Arditi, Barbieri, Clément, Gaztambide y Garbayo, Gregoir, Hauser, Hernando y Palomar, Hignard, Leslie, Litta, Lutz, Massé, Raff, Reinthaler.
