Mary Ann Virginia Gabriel, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Barnstead on the 7th February 1825, the same year of the composers Bristow, Doppler, Gollmick, Gutiérrez (y) Espinosa, Hol, Horn, Loder, Lucantoni, Marpurg, Nibelle, Ortega del Villar, Oudrid y Segura, Ouseley, Reissmann, Rongé, Strauss. Died in Londra on the 7th August 1877
