The composer Johann Joseph Emmert, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Kitzingen on the 27th November 1732, the same year of the composers Audinot, Bach, Beaumarchais, Glösch, Haydn, Herbain, Majo, Trial. He died in Würzburg on the 20th February 1809
