The composer Victor-Charles-Paul Dourlen, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Dunkerque on the third November 1780, the same year of the composers Bertini, Calegari, Drieberg, Kreutzer, Lichtenthal. He died in Batignolles (Parigi) on the 8th Jenuary 1864
