Karl (Károly) Doppler, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Lvov on the 12nd September 1825, the same year of the composers Bristow, Gabriel, Gollmick, Gutiérrez (y) Espinosa, Hol, Horn, Loder, Lucantoni, Marpurg, Nibelle, Ortega del Villar, Oudrid y Segura, Ouseley, Reissmann, Rongé, Strauss. He died in Stoccarda on the 10th March 1900
