The musician Constantin Dimitrescu, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Blejoi-Prahova on the 19th March 1847, the same year of the composers Cervantes (Kawanag), Eichborn, Grandjean, Haarklou, Holmès, Klughardt, Láska, Mackenzie, Salvayre, Scharwenka, Servais. He died in Bucarest on the 9th May 1928
