Josef (Joseph) Dessauer, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Praga on the 28th May 1798, the same year of the composers Andries, Batton, Costa, Gassner, Gläser, Griesbach, Linley, Lvov, Reissiger. Died in Mödling (Vienna) on the 8th July 1876
