Sir Noël Coward, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Teddington on the 16th December 1899, the same year of the composers Angelo, Auric, Bárdos, Chávez (y Ramírez), Cortese, Davidenko, Duke, Gedda, Haas, Korchmaryov, Krása, Lamote de Grignon y Ribas, Manziarly, Müller von Kulm, Poulenc, Rohloff, Tcherepnin. He died in Port Maria (Jamaica) on the 25th March 1973
