The musician Max Clarus was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Mühlberg on the 31th March 1852, the same year of the composers Bayer, Borkowski, Corder, Coronaro, Cowen, Gobatti, Grünfeld, Hillemacher, Housely, Huber, Kaan (Kaan-Albest), Laurens, Marzo, Mascheroni, Mengewein, Neitzel, Oswald, Pugno, Raida, Stanford. Died in Braunschweig on the 6th December 1916
