The musician Matija Bravnicar was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Tolmin on the 24th February 1897, the same year of the composers Ascone, Barth, Bentzon, Cowell, Fernström, Gerster, Golishev, Heward, Kerr, Korngold, Kósa, Lillen, Lorenzo Fernândez, Maganini, Mignone, Moeschinger, Riisager, Salmon, Sorozabal (Marialcurrena), Stringfield, Sutherland, Tansman. He died in Ljubljana on the 25th November 1977
