The composer Franz Carl Bornschein, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Baltimora on the 10th February 1879, the same year of the composers Andreae, Berg, Bridge, Canteloube (de Malaret), Corder, Cras, Doire, Donaudy, Gaubert, Gilbert, Granichstaedten, Grovlez, Haas, Hatze, Kalnins, Laccetti, Lyudkevych, Ostrcil, Respighi, Scott, Shaw, Tigranian, Trunk, Uspensky. Died in Baltimora on the 8th June 1948
