The musician Bohdan Borkowski, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Teczynek on the 7th November 1852, the same year of the composers Bayer, Clarus, Corder, Coronaro, Cowen, Gobatti, Grünfeld, Hillemacher, Housely, Huber, Kaan (Kaan-Albest), Laurens, Marzo, Mascheroni, Mengewein, Neitzel, Oswald, Pugno, Raida, Stanford. He died in Varsavia on the 6th November 1901
