The musician Camille Benoît was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Roanne on the 7th December 1851, the same year of the composers Abbà Cornaglia, Blockx, Chapí (y Lorente), Chvála, Coronaro, Falchi, Farkas, Ferrari, Gallignani, Grillet, Indy, Klauwell, Ratez, Röder. He died in Parigi on the first July 1923
