Giannotto Bastianelli, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in San Domenico di Fiesole on the 20th June 1883, the same year of the composers Allen, Bartels, Bath, Bossi, Casella, Davison, Doelle, Hauer, Hernried, Hrimalý, Infante, Jacobi, Kalomiris, Kartsev, Klenau, Krein, Kunc, Lhotka, Lloyd, Luncani, Lévy, Mandic, Manén, Moonie, Perrachio, Pringsheim, Refice, Samuel, Santoliquido, Toselli. He died in Tunisi on the 22nd September 1927
