The composer Carlo Emanuele (de) Barbieri was born in Genova on the 22nd October 1822, the same year of the composers Arditi, Clément, Gautier, Gaztambide y Garbayo, Gregoir, Hauser, Hernando y Palomar, Hignard, Leslie, Litta, Lutz, Massé, Raff, Reinthaler. Died in Pest on the 28th September 1867
