August Baeyens

August Baeyens, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Antwerpen on the 5th June 1895, the same year of the composers Binder, Brustad, Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Castro, Dandelot, Dostal, Estrada, Gotovac, Gray, Guerrero (y Torre), Hindemith, Höffer, Kattnigg, Kogoj, Lyatoshyns'ky, Martelli, Nechayev, Orff, Osterc, Rathaus, Rocca, Schiuma, Still, Thórdarson, Tijardovic, Toldrá, Trambitsky. He died in Antwerpen on the 17th July 1966
