Erik (Carl Emanuel) Akerberg (Åkerberg), who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Stoccolma on the 19th Jenuary 1860, the same year of the composers Albeniz (Albéniz), Charpentier, Eymieu, Hansen, Hillemacher, Liepe, Loewengard, Mahler, Manolov, Marty, Paderewski, Reznicek, Rietsch (Löwy), Robyn, Statkowski, Tonning. He died in Stoccolma on the 20th Jenuary 1938
