  • Observations :
    Composed before 1774.
    The Minuet in this manuscript is suggestive of the famous German Imperial theme that Haydn would write more than 20 years later – in 1797. In the Trio section is a remarkable short quotation from the ‘Christmas Oratorio’ of Johann Sebastian Bach.
