The musician Valentí Zubiaurre (y Unionbarrenechea) was born in Villa de Garay on the 13rd February 1837, the same year of the composers Aceves y Lozano, Chukhadjian, Diaz (de la Peña), Dubois, Ferrari, Gheluwe, Grisart, Guiraud, Holmes, Jensen, Levey, Molloy, Sommer, Sonnenfeld.
