The composer Winfried (Petrus Ignatius) Zillig was born in Würzburg on the first April 1905, the same year of the composers Adomián, Arapov, Bartos, Blazek, Blitzstein, Bozza, Brusilovsky, Dankevich, Darnton, Defossez, Farkas, Garrido, Gundry, Halffter (Escriche), Hartmann, Holewa, Hughes, Jolivet, Kenessey, Kosma, Kozlovsky, Kreuder, Landré, Leigh, Maes, Meyer, Michaelides, Müller, Pizzini, Rubin, Ruthenfranz, Sandi, Seiber, Sternefeld, Tippett, Tubin. He died in Hamburg on the 17th December 1963
