Richard (Ferdinand) Wüerst, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Berlino on the 22nd February 1824, the same year of the composers Balart, Clavé, Coenen, Cornelius, De Ferrari, Eichberg, Malipiero, Olander (Ölander), Perfall, Reinecke, Romani, Samuel, Smetana, Terziani. Died in Berlino on the 9th October 1881
