The composer Jean-Fernand Vaubourgoin, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Bordeaux on the 29th December 1880, the same year of the composers Ascher, Bainton, Barilli, Bleyle, Bloch, Casimiri, Charpentier, Delcroix, Guarnieri, Inghelbrecht, Istel, Karel, La Rotella, Luna y Carné, Pahissa, Pizzetti, Pratella, Randegger, Rogatis, Stolz, Szirmai, Uribe Holguín. Died in Bordeaux on the 25th November 1952
