The musician Guillermo Uribe Holguín was born in Bogotá on the 17th March 1880, the same year of the composers Ascher, Bainton, Barilli, Bleyle, Bloch, Casimiri, Charpentier, Delcroix, Guarnieri, Inghelbrecht, Istel, Karel, La Rotella, Luna y Carné, Pahissa, Pizzetti, Pratella, Randegger, Rogatis, Stolz, Szirmai. He died in Bogotá on the 26th June 1971
